Below, you will find NAC's process for proposing and planning events, programs, and/or projects, along with various planning forms.

NAC Process for Events, Projects, and Programs

A simple, prayerful way forward for planning and carrying out acts of service and outreach at North Augusta Church. This process helps us move from God's call to meaningful action - together.

  1. Pray & Discern the Need Start with prayer. Ask: What real need is God calling us to address?
  2. Draft a Proposal. Write down the purpose, people, place, and plan using the NAC Proposal Form.
  3. Get Leadership Approval. Leaders confirm timing, resources, and alignment before moving forward.
  4. Form a Planning Team 3-6 people. Share the load - no one carries a project alone.
  5. Schedule & Reserve Resources. Book rooms, equipment, and calendar space before promoting.
  6. Promote the Project. Use announcements, slides, social media, and personal invitations.
  7. Prepare in Advance. Gather supplies, confirm roles, and make backup plans.
  8. Run the Project. Arrive early, pray, welcome warmly, and keep things safe and flexible.
  9. Wrap-Up & Clean-Up. Leave spaces better than you found them; return borrowed items.
  10. Report Back to the Church. Share a short update or story so everyone can celebrate together.
  11. Follow-Up & Evaluate. Thank volunteers, reflect on what worked, and keep contacts for the future.
